July #WePlayChat: The Role of Play and Parks During a Pandemic

Join us on Twitter Monday, July 27th at 7:00pm EST for the next installment of our monthly #WePlayChat.  We are honored to welcome Parks and Recreation expert Brian VanDongen to the main stage for a conversation around Play and Parks During a Pandemic.

He works to provide necessary and needed access to parks and playful activities for the health and well being of the residents. Brian promotes the value of play throughout life and shares knowledge and ideas to recreation professionals, educators, parents, and students. Brian is currently the Assistant Director of Recreation in Readington, NJ.

Here are the questions we will be covering during our July #WePlayChat:

Q1. Who has been able to play or visit their parks during the COVID-19 pandemic?

Q2. What is your favorite activity to do at the park? What is your favorite park?

Q3. How can we ensure all people have access to parks, especially during a pandemic?

Q4. Why is playing in parks important in 2020?
